-------------------------------------------------------------------
HOW TO PRE-ENTER:
------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1: There will be a pinned post (at the top) on the event page wall for the Wednesay event page for each race. You can get in the draw by commenting on this post. This post will go live the night that the previous helmet race ends. You need to provide your horse name or you will not be put in the draw.
Step 2: Photos of the entry forms are also posted on the event page wall. Please print these, fill them out, and then email copies to lundebarrels@gmail.com. You can scan them or just take a photo with your cell phone and email them to us. We will print them and have them ready at the race. For those who cannot print and email their forms, we will fill them out on your behalf, you just need to let us know. We will have ALL forms ready for each rider at the race and just need you to sign them when you check-in.

Early draw numbers are in HIGH DEMAND. Therefore we have designated early draw numbers as #1-50, middle draw as #51-75, and late draw as #76-100 for each night. If you simply ask for early draw, we will give you a random number which could be #1 or could be #50 or anything in between. If you want a specific number or in a specific range make sure you make your request as specific as possible. We will consider ALL special requests and make our best effort to accomodate them. If you request a specific number that has already been taken, we will give you the closest available number. If you don't like the number you get, and you want to be added to a waiting list for an earlier number, please let us know. We always have people drop out at the last minute and some early numbers will likely become available, but you will miss out on them if you are not already on the waiting list. If there are any questions, please email us at lundebarrels@gmail.com and we will do our best to answer all of your specific questions or further explain anything you are confused about.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
NEW INFORMATION:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
No DOGS! NO dogs are allowed under the arena cover even if leashed, including in all spectator areas. Dogs MUST be on leashes at ALL TIMES.

No SMOKING! Ingalls Park is owned and operated by the City of Norco, and all city parks have no smoking policies in effect. However, Ingalls Park has special exemptions to allow smoking is certain designated areas. Smoking is still prohibited in spectator areas. This includes all bleacher areas as well as spectator areas where picnic tables are placed throughout the event center. If you would like to smoke during our weekly Jackpots, please do so out in the parking and driving areas away from all picnic tables, bleachers and any areas where spectators are gathered.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
2017 HELMET SERIES RULES
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The 2017 season will begin in February and will consist of several week-night jackpots, to be scheduled approximately 1 race per month through the end of the year. All dates will be subject to change due to scheduling conflicts or weather. The season will conclude with a year-end awards banquet. Details, location and time of banquet have now been announced and an event page has been created. Dates and info will be maintained via Facebook through the Lunde Enterprise business page and it’s corresponding event pages which will always begin with “Lunde Enterprise” in the name. You can find all relevant info by searching for “Lunde Enterprise” on Facebook.

Each week-night jackpot race will have $1,000 added money and be formatted as a traditional open barrel race with a 4D payout. Helmets will be mandatory at each race for ALL RIDERS. There will be no youth or senior classes at these races, as many of our youth riders are actually fairly competitive in the open and are often placing in the 3D/4D. We have added a novice class with $100 added at each race and novice memberships with separate year end awards. See novice flyer for details. The races will all be open races so anyone can compete regardless of whether or not they are an active member, but you must be an active member to start earning points. You will not earn points for previous races when you sign-up, so we suggest signing up at the first race you attend.

Membership fee of $40 includes the enrollment of 1 horse/rider combo to be eligible for year-end awards. Each member will have the option to change horses during the year if necessary. This is to ensure that a member can compete for the entire year even if a horse becomes injured and is unable to compete in several of the races. That rider can declare a horse swap, and accumulate points on a substitute horse. You MUST declare a horse swap, prior to running the substitute horse, by notifying the book-keeper when signing up for a race. If you run the substitute horse, without declaring a horse swap, that run’s points will not count. If a member enters multiple horses in any given race, but has only paid for 1 membership, only the horse on the paid membership will be eligible to earn points. If a member has 2 paid memberships, they may earn points on 2 horses separately and attempt to qualify to win 2 awards.

Members will earn 1 point for each race attended, and additional points based on how they place. 10 points for 1st place, 8 for 2nd, 7 for 3rd, 6 for 4th , … , all the way down to 1 point for 9th place. 10th place and beyond will only receive the 1 attendance point for that race. Attendance points count as long as you show up, even if you hit a barrel or run off course. Attendance points will automatically be added in the division which a member has the most points, or has the best chance to place. For example, if you have 50 points in the 1D and 40 points in the 2D we would add your attendance points to the 1D, unless adding them to the 1D would only put you in 8th place and out of the awards, whereas adding them to the 2D would put you in 7th place in the 2D and earn you an award. If that is the case we will add them to the 2D or in whatever way that is most favorable to the member.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
PRICING/SIGNUPS:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Exhibition/Time Only runs are $5 each (pay the gate person when you get to the front of the line). Please try to bring a $5 bill rather than a $20 bill if you plan on only doing 1 time only.
Jackpot entry is $50 (price includes $10 grounds fee).
Jackpot entries are CASH ONLY, and you will sign up and pay the book-keeper (Marty) who is usually walking around somewhere near the picnic tables at the arena entrance gate (south side) holding a clip-board.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
DIRECTIONS:
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Jackpots are held at George Ingall's Equestrian Event Center at 3737 Crestview Dr, Norco, CA 92860.
The address is on Crestview but the directions are as follows: Take I-15 to the Sixth Street exit in Norco, CA. Head east on 6th street until it dead ends. When the street dead ends you just keep driving straight into a dirt driveway which leads you right into the arena. This chain link gate is labeled as gate #1. You will drive past a park on your left hand side, and around the corner past a banquet hall and then past the animal control on the right hand side. Keep going straight into gate #1. Occasionally during construction this gate is closed and you have to enter off of Crestview Dr. where there are 2 or 3 additional gates to get to the arenas.
